Acknowledgements
X-muse exists only because of the generous, brilliant, and unstinting efforts of many people. First, of course, are the X-muses themselves, without whose beauty and inspiration nothing would be possible. They are extraordinary women and I am fortunate beyond measure to be able to work with them.
Next, I must acknowledge the particular efforts of Alyce, who is not only lends her exceptional talents to this site, but has been, and continues to be, a source of constant support and encouragement throughout the long process of getting X‑muse up and running. She also went out of her way to deliver miso soup to the sick and needy, which qualifies her for instant Goddess-hood. We bow before her.
To Tessa, I owe the impetus to revive a long dormant idea and the conviction to carry it through. She revived my faith when it was flagging and lent her beauty, her wit, her intelligence, and her boundless creativity to my fledging undertaking. I am grateful to her far beyond my ability to express.
Veronika also deserves special mention: her brilliant insights, peerless writing, and outstanding scholarship have transformed X-muse in something much more than a mere art photography site. I owe her special thanks and a debt that cannot ever be fully repaid.
Finally, there is Tehanu, without whom you would not be seeing any of this, for she is largely responsible for much of what you see here. She is an artist, a model, and a Muse of epic proportions, but more than this, she has been a diligent partner, an unfailing source of inspiration, a gentle and perceptive critic, and unbelievably patient with my many quirks, foibles, and failings. To say I could not have done any of this without her is a vast understatement.
To these women, I owe whatever merit this site has, be it in Art, implementation, or words. The failings are wholly mine.
